Do you offer a free consultation before scheduling an appointment?
Yes, I offer a free 15 minute consultation by phone to discuss your goals. If my services are aligned with your treatment goals an initial meeting will be set up and a patient questionnaires will be sent to complete before your first appointment. This will allow me to better understand your history and present concerns prior to an initial meeting.
What can I expect at the first appointment?
Initial appointments consist of a comprehensive interview reviewing your current symptoms, physical and mental health history. The information obtained in this appointment is critical to ensure evidence-based treatment options are implemented to address your specific diagnosis. Melrose Mental Wellness values respect empathy, compassion, and shared decision making to develop treatment plans. Individualized treatment plans often consist of therapeutic support alone or in combination with medication management.
How long is a typical appointment?
-The first appointment is typically 60-90 minutes. This allows me to understand your history, provide a thorough interview, and discuss possible treatment options.
-Medication management appointments are typically 30 minutes.
-Therapy appointments are typically 60 minutes.
-Combination appointment are typically 45 minutes of therapy & 15 minutes of medication management.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes! I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments. Telehealth appointments are only available to individuals residing within Washington State.
